Join the Class

Ok you have signed up. Now what?

First we will send you a PDF or you can download it here: Getting Started
Then we will send you an email letting you know you are enrolled in the class
Then another email will come your way with details on how to join the class. This will come prior to the class and again on the day of the class (just in case it gets lost in your email)
This email will have all of the details to logging in. You will want to have lots of cell phone juice and be near a computer so you can watch what’s going on.
If you are still driving home just listen and MUTE US.
We love dogs, kids, partners, the coffee shop atmosphere, but we don’t want to join you there…so please MUTE.

At the end of the first hour we will do a 5-10 minute question sessions so write your questions down.
Then at the end of the second hour we will do it again!

Looking forward to getting you all up and running!
We will give you a test site to play on and a bunch of test graphics you can work with, as well as a design that we want you to mimic.

Here are some preliminary things you can do before you join the class.

1. Go to www.bluehost.com/track/soscommunications and sign up for your URL and hosting. This will cost you $6.95 a month.

To change from your old host to BLUEHOST read this!

2. If you want to register a second URL we can have both direct to the same website and that will be an additional $10 a YEAR.
3. Register one business name across the board on the following: Yahoo Business, Google Business, Yelp, FourSquare.
4. Create a Twitter account.
5. Create a facebook business page http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
6. Make sure you have a google account for your business. This will be used for Google analytics and a BACK UP email to your business email.
7. Go on to ASKIMET and sign up. You can move the little TOGGLE to ZERO so you don’t have to pay for it. Send me the askimet NUMBER they give you so we can put it in your site. This is an anti-spam tool.
