What will I have at the end of a DIY Websites Now class?
An excellent understanding of what you need to do next in getting your website going and a good headstart on it all. If you come to the class prepared with your content, you can build and get help from us during the week of the class.

Are there any “hidden” costs?
You will need to sign up for a host (www.bluehost.com/track/soscommunications) prior to the class through this link and you will need to purchase a domain name. You can do this when you sign up for the host. Your domain name is $10 per year and hosting is $6.95 a month.

If I already have a site can I use this same URL?
Yes. Email us with your current site information, host, login, etc…and we will help you transition that to the new host.

If I already use WordPress.com will I lose everything?
Nope! We are just switching to WordPress.org. Don’t worry. It doesn’t hurt and you won’t lose anything.

If I am on Blogger or another blog platform will I lose my blog?
Nope. There are plugins we will teach you about that will allow you to transfer over everything.

Can I have a store on a blog?
Yes. There are a number of free or cheap ways to do this. We’ve done the research so let us help you make your sales happen!

I am totally not creative. Will I be able to do this? 
Of course you are creative. You started a business. It’s our job to help you tap into that creative spirit and build a website that reflects your product.

I am a total techtard! Can I do this?
Techtarded or tech-savvy, this course is about learning step-by-step how to not be afraid of WordPress and building a site. Even if you have built sites in other platforms, this class will be helpful to learning what’s coming down the pipeline in website building technology.

Why do I need this class?
As a small business owner, creative thinker you probably find you don’t have anyone to be a sound board when it comes to business. In our sessions you will connect with other like-minded people and be able to bounce ideas and hopefully form some friendships out of the course that can help your business.
